Critique 2:
Due: Monday, March 13th

What stuck with you the most from the first critique? Whether it was a problem to solve or something someone said that you felt like you were doing right, write down the one thought that stuck with you the most from your last critique. then focus on making one larger, more ambitious work based on what you have written down. The last critique was about making 20 small quick “sketches” that may or may not have led to an interesting place. The idea was to generate a “mess”. This time we will clean up the mess: focus in on one problem or aspect of your working process from last time, and try and be as specific as possible about addressing that aspect, in one larger, more ambitious piece of work. This is not a “sketch” but a more resolved, finished work. Remember: we have 2 more critiques after this, so do not worry about this feeling like “an end”: it’s still just the beginning . . .
